CADIA Connects January - Capstone Reports
|
Join us on Jan. 14 to hear from the Fall '24 CADIA Accelerator DEI Certification Program graduates as they share their capstone projects with the CADIA community. They have created toolboxes for use by organizations to drive DEI.
Projects include:
- A Ten-Step Journey to Transform 'Me' Thinking Into 'We' Leadership
- Production Empowerment Pathway
- Goal Setting the DEI Way
- Advancing Individuals Through “The Stages of Us” Using Allyship
- Disability Toolkit for Allies
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants will be able to download the projects and put them to good use immediately!
CADIA Connects is a no-cost, hour-long Zoom meeting designed to help professionals stay connected and find common ground.

Accelerator DEI Certification Program: Winter/Spring Kick off Feb. 20
|
Kicking off a new cohort on Feb. 20, the CADIA Accelerator DEI Certification Program offers a structured opportunity for automotive industry professionals to learn DEI best practices, solve complex organizational challenges and build a DEI professional network.
This course is aimed at DEI professionals, DEI champions, ERG leaders and participants, and anyone who wants to better understand DEI at a personal, professional and systems level.
With more that 150 graduates to date, participants will join a community dedicated to advancing DEI in our industry.

CADIA DEI Roundtable Discusses ERGs
|
On Jan. 15, the DEI Roundtable will be discussing ERGs – and hearing about best practices from Patriece Barton – President – African Ancestry at Bosch Chicagoland; Morgan Curry Brown – Senior Facilities and Energy Engineer at Robert Bosch, LLC – Charleston Plant, President – African Ancestry at Bosch Charleston; Derek Howard – Engineering Manager - Vehicle Systems and Sensor Integration; President – African Ancestry at Bosch – Metro Detroit; Heather Porzuczek – Vice President HR, Eaton’s Mobility Group and Carrie Young – Chief Engineer, Chair Wx ERC, Magna Seating. The conversation will center on lessons learned, effective stewardship and the evolution of ERGs over time.
CADIA encourages all Corporate and Roundtable members to attend and invite ERG leaders to glean best practices, uncover benchmark information and generate new ideas to create both organizational and individual value from existing and future ERGs.

It serves as a tool to encourage inclusive practices, provide educational insights, and inspire meaningful engagement among individuals and organizations.

The CADIA Impact Awards nominations will close on Jan. 17. The applications are short but the competition is strong. Don't delay - submit your company nominations now.

The nomination process will close on January 17, 2025 and a panel of judges will determine the winners.
