Discover Your Authentic Voice and Use it to Create Change for You and Your Team - CADIA Connects Oct. 11

Join author and speaker Heather Whelpley for CADIA Connects in October. This isn't your average communications training!

Instead of diving into tactics on how you "should" present yourself, we will get clear on what is authentic to YOU so  you can share your ideas, challenge the status quo and impact positive change in your workplace and beyond.

In this interactive session we'll identify:

  • The barriers and bias that get in the way of sharing your authentic voice
  • The change you want to influence with your voice and why that's important to you
  • Concrete strategies and approaches to get your voice heard
  • How to be an ally and create an environment where others are free to show up as their full self and share their voice

CADIA Connects is a no-cost offering from the Center for Automotive Diversity, Inclusion and Advancement. This hour-long Zoom meeting is an avenue for professionals to stay connected and find common ground.

As always, CADIA Connects is free but you must register in advance.

CEO Coalition for Change Live Business and Networking Event

On Nov. 3, members of the CEO Coalition for Change and guest CEOs will gather at AM General in Auburn Hills, Mich. to reflect on progress made, discuss future planning and meet prospective members. All industry CEOs are invited and may bring their DEI staff person as their guest to this important event.

The CEO Coalition for Change was created by CEOs committed to taking the actions necessary to make meaningful strides in diversity, equity and inclusion in the industry.

It is, at its heart, a learning community. Members understand that no one person or company has a complete understanding of DEI, and all want to engage, share and learn from one another.

The Coalition Annual Report is now available. The CEO Coalition for Change is a no-cost offering from CADIA in partnership with MICHauto and NDIA. Your CEO or individual with equivalent responsibility should be a member of this group. For more information or to request an overview, contact Margaret Baxter.
