DEI July Roundtable: Breaking Barriers & Reimagining Fair Opportunity in the Automotive Industry


What does fair opportunity really mean in today’s workplace — and who gets to define it? In this closed-door session, we invite CADIA members into a rare, unfiltered conversation with Tier one supplier CEOs on how senior leaders can identify and break down the persistent — and often invisible — barriers that limit equitable access to opportunity, advancement, and belonging.

With today’s pushback against DEI and increasing complexity around compliance, many organizations are reevaluating their strategies. But backing away from inclusion is not leadership. This session will explore what a more holistic, human-centered, and authentic approach to DEI looks like — one that’s grounded in personal reflection, systems change, and bold leadership at the top.

Join us as we go beyond the usual talking points. 


This conversation will include personal stories, real-life lessons, honest reflections on missteps, and emerging patterns across the industry. We’ll co-create a more expansive definition of “fair opportunity,” and invite participants to reflect on how leadership at every level can influence access, equity, and trust.
